Lovanian Privacy Policy

Overview

Lovanian is an AI companion studio that lets you create a fictional companion, generate profile images, and connect that companion to Telegram. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

By using Lovanian, you agree that we may process your information as described here.

Information we collect

We collect account information, such as your email address and authentication identifiers. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic account details Google shares with us, such as your email address and profile identifier.

We collect companion setup information, such as name seeds, appearance preferences, personality choices, language preferences, generated character profiles, selected avatars, and related settings.

We collect Telegram connection information, such as the Telegram user ID, username, chat connection tokens, and messages needed to operate your companion experience.

Billing information is handled through Stripe and may include customer identifiers, subscription status, plan, payment event identifiers, and purchase history. We do not store full payment card numbers.

We also collect technical information, such as session data, authentication tokens, request metadata, and logs needed to keep the service secure and working.

How we use information

We use your information to create and manage your account, authenticate you, generate companion content, remember companion settings, connect Telegram, provide billing and subscription features, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve the service.

We may use prompts, messages, companion descriptions, and generated outputs to provide the AI companion experience you request.

Service providers

We use Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; Google for optional Google sign-in; Telegram for bot-based chat; Stripe for payments and billing; Cloudflare for API hosting; and AI/image providers such as OpenRouter or model providers used through OpenRouter to generate text and images.

These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Lovanian, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers when needed to operate Lovanian, comply with law, protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, or complete a transaction you request.

Data retention

We keep account, companion, billing, and Telegram connection data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required by law, for security, fraud prevention, billing, or backup purposes.

Your choices

You can choose whether to use Google sign-in, email sign-in, Telegram connection, or paid billing features. You can disconnect Telegram by contacting us or by removing the bot connection in Telegram where available. You can manage subscriptions through the billing portal when signed in.

Security, children, and changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including managed authentication, access controls, and secure service providers. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

Lovanian is not intended for children under 18. Do not use the service if you are under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date.
